Pennsylvania's New Ideas
Pennsylvania was one of the first colonies to really be actively kind to the Native Americans. Because William Penn was of the Quaker background he believed in justice for all beliefs. Penn also believed in free religious beliefs and was not a big fan of slaves. But many slaves managed to be brought to the colony by wealthy English. Penn also did not take any land from Indians without paying them.
